Sovichet is currently one of the most influential type designers in Cambodia, specializing in Khmer script. He started type design as a hobby in 2010 and turned professional in 2018. Sovichet has published both open-source and bespoke typefaces for international and local corporations such as Google, Grab, Carlsberg Group, and Peng Huoth Group. Besides designing typefaces, he writes about Khmer type design and typography and conducts workshops and talks in the Cambodian design community.
